Arshak Andriasov

Arshak Andriasov – Official Website.

I am a classical composer, pianist, an author, and founder & owner of The Andriasov Store. My motto is to bring beauty to the world. This inner spirit is manifested through either my music, writings, or way of life.

Born and raised in New York City, I have been blessed to be surrounded by classical music from an early age. My father, Iosif Andriasov, was a world-renowned composer of Armenian heritage, and my mother, Marta Andriasova (Kudryashova), is a musicologist of Russian heritage. I am married to Claudia Andriasova (Caminero) and we have one son, Iosif.

About My Music:

Soprano, Katherine Napiwotzki:
“The thought that is behind his (Arshak’s) music is extraordinary, and it was a joy to learn the deep psychological aspects of his music and to understand the context in which they were composed. Experiencing his music, whether singing, playing, or listening, is a gift and a lesson in humanity, bringing beauty to the world.”

My music draws on a vast array of musical resources, ranging from Armenian folk music to Russian classical music, with certain elements of American jazz, while using means of contemporary language to create beautiful music. My music compositions have been performed all over the world, from Japan to the Netherlands.

I have performed, on the piano, my father’s and own compositions at many venues, including Carnegie Hall. I have played the piano since the age of 3. My first concert performed on stage was at the age of 6.
