Food Review

Fogo de Chao

Fogo de Chao is a Brazilian Steakhouse I love in Philadelphia. Located on 1337 Chestnut St., this all-you-can eat meat restaurant brings a classy dining experience. As the meat is carved right in front of me, I can choose how it is cooked. My favorites are Bacon wrapped with Steak, Pork Sausage, and Chicken thighs. During lunch hour, which is my favorite time to go, the price is incredible for the amount of food available.

At $36.95, the carnivore inside of you will erupt. Or, you can ask for a limited meat menu (Gaucho Lunch – with Grilled selection) and ask for the price. For those people who do not want to eat meat, there is an extensive salad bar that includes mozzarella, salmon, veggies, and fruits. Priced incredibly at $15.00 during lunch hour, thankfully there is enough food to feel satiated.

A wonderful place to take a special someone, the whole experience from start to finish will leave you coming back for more. Elegantly decorated, the chandeliers and 20 foot ceilings will impress anyone. I really feel like I went back in time. The staff is wonderful, making you feel like part of the family. I notice having long conversations with many workers there. Each bring their own interesting appeal. I highly recommend Fogo de Chao for an overall experience that you will never forget.
