Sports

Sports.

I used to love sports. My favorite sports to watch and play were Hockey, Soccer, Basketball, and Tennis. I used to play in an amateur roller hockey league. Our team won 2 championships. The first time, I played right wing on the third line. The second time we won, I was the starting goaltender. Those moments of comradery were such a wonderful experience. We would devise tactics over beer, after games, and would even get together to practice together on our off days.

Watching Sports.

When I was younger, I watched sports quite often. My favorite city of choice in sports was Philadelphia. This, mind you, was even though I was born and raised in NYC. Phillies, 76ers, and the Eagles held a special place in my heart. My wife and I went to the Eagles Parade and before then, I travelled to Philly for the Phillies parade in 2008. While all of those moments felt incredible, the Philadelphia Flyers were my overall favorite team ever. Sadly, while watching, I never got to experience the Stanley Cup. I watched the 1985, 1987, 1997, 2010 cup final losses. Those stung a lot. The fact that we went to all those finals made my life extremely fun during the summer months. In the end, I knew hockey quite well and understood how tough it was to win a cup. I even wrote a book “Who is Better?” in my early teens. I was pinning one hockey player’s attributes with another. Some of the articles are included in this sports blog.

Have Not Watched Any Sporting Events.

After the globalists peddled their poison jabs, and the sporting world caved by forcing them upon their performers, I have stopped watching sports overall. These athletes, like politicians, entertainers, and the press, fill a job to distract you from your own goal in life. If they are told to do something, 99% of them will obey.

Only One Sports Hero.

There was only one person who said no to the government. He was sent to prison and stripped of his title. When he left prison, this man won the championship again. This hero was Muhammad Ali. In the sporting world, this incredibly courageous act deserves to be part of human achievements. While Novak Djokovic did a great thing by not taking the poison, he should have never played at Wimbledon, because they segregated Russian and Belorussian players. For me, Novak will not be the hero that Muhammad was, especially since Djokovic is a Slav like his compatriot Russian and Belorussian tennis players are.

My Sports Articles.

Below are my sports articles. Most of them will be about the past. Luckily, there are two things I am grateful for sports: 1. That I experienced watching Wayne Gretzky, Michael Jordan, and other giants live. 2. That I did not waste more time on entertainers instead of working on my craft.
