Unsung Heroes – Angel Riveira

Unsung Heroes – Angel Riveira.

Angel Riveira works as a shuttle bus driver. Mr. Riveira’s hours are long, but you will never feel anything but a warm, kind heart. Always the happy greeter, Angel brings humor to everyone. All the passengers know him, and they always ask how he is doing. I am truly happy to consider him a good friend.

Here is an interview with Angel Riveira done by Arshak Andriasov

Arshak Andriasov: How would your best friends describe you?

Angel Riveira: A lunatic, crazy, happy person.

Arshak Andriasov: What’s your greatest achievement and how has it shaped you?

Angel Riveira: I do what I do best…drive. By driving the shuttle, I get a chance to be social and interact with people. Everyone gets home safe, that is my achievement.

Arshak Andriasov: If you could master one skill you don’t have right now, what would it be?

Angel Riveira: I would love to fly a plane. The excitement of getting it done would be my reason.

Arshak Andriasov: What would be your “perfect” day?

Angel Riveira: I would love to be on the beach and have a margarita be given to me.

Arshak Andriasov: Describe us your usual day?

Angel Riveira: I ride the shuttle bus five days a week from 2PM until usually 12AM.

Arshak Andriasov: What motivates you to be a good person?

Angel Riveira: Life. Life is wonderful. My family and friends help me be a better person.

Arshak Andriasov: If you could change one thing about yourself, what would it be?

Angel Riveira: I would try to change being lazy sometimes. I would be more active. Working even more.

Arshak Andriasov: In what ways are you the same as your childhood self?

Angel Riveira: I kept on being a fun-loving person. Always have fun. That is what stayed the same.

Arshak Andriasov: If you were head of a major TV station for one day, what would you play?

Angel Riveira: Old wrestling matches. I would play 70’s NWA programs and other good old wrestling.

Arshak Andriasov: If you could have dinner with any one person, living or dead, who would they be and why?

Angel Riveira: John Denver. I liked his music, liked his style. And I listen to country music.

Arshak Andriasov: What are you most grateful for?

Angel Riveira: Living.

Arshak Andriasov: If you could travel anywhere in the world, where would it be?

Angel Riveira: I would love to be in Europe. I have never been there and would love to explore.

Arshak Andriasov: What do you love to do during your spare time?

Angel Riveira: Fishing. It relaxes me and soothes the soul.
