The Beauty of Gustav Klimt
The Beauty of Gustav Klimt.
Living in poverty for all of his life, the beauty of Gustav Klimt was able to force through the financial pain to create many wonderful paintings. Being able to express many emotional multidimensional tones on one canvas, Mr. Klimt found a way to stand out from Van Gogh and Chagall in his Apple Tree I.
Apple Tree I.
As you can see, his ability to show depth in this painting is miraculous. Layer upon layer of beauty stretched far and wide when looking inside the Apple Tree. I can see and imagine a beautiful continuation in between those tender branches.
Gustav Klimt’s expressive cheer through this work truly paints a picture for me how truly a personality he must have been. The wonderful thing about life is that the body of work throughout one’s existence should be explored. When we see how throughout history everyone tries to focus on being part of something and trashing those who do not participate, such geniuses like Gustav Kilmt get passed on. Considered by many shortsighted critics at the time as a “pornographic” artist, they missed Mr. Klimt’s beautiful ability to find true expression through whatever subject his focus was on.
The Kiss.
How beautiful and romantic Gustav Klimt was in The Kiss. The beauty he showed us through this medium called Art just can make you tear up from all the pain and love given to us through this form. Our whole life is filled with heartbreak, love, joy, depression, anger, and so many other emotions that are inside of us and that are sometimes shown to the world. All of these energies shared by each one of us either comes through personal interaction with others or through the creative means like Art in this case. Each person will have their own opinion about everything known to humankind, but shunning another’s talent because of jealousy, misunderstanding, lack of talent, and knowledge, truly makes humanity flawed. Throughout history of all fields, geniuses are passed by while alive.
Portrait of Adele Bloch-Bauer I.
Luckily, there are those who value this incredible genius. I write to share beauty of others with everyone. My gratitude for such creators is the sole purpose of expressing my thoughts on this blog. Take a look at this perfection, Portrait of Adele Bloch-Bauer I. This painting is Gustav Klimt’s final grandiose, intricate creation of his ‘golden phase’. While the content is vast, how Mr. Klimt gives us a chance to calm our eyes through the green color. Your eyes eventually move towards this color, knowing that there are more intricate details throughout this painting. A genius thought process. Like Mozart said: “Silence is very important. The silence between the notes are as important as the notes themselves.” One Austrian genius understood the other Austrian genius.
Beauty attracts all nations and all of their people. Having an accepting personality of others gives us a chance to try to understand. The moment we realize how much depth is truly inside all of one, that will be the moment you will evolve as a human being. I understand that being part of a community is an important factor to many, but the prejudices made by a society and their perspectives might make you as an individual miss out on all the geniuses like Gustav Klimt. What a loss this would be.
