Seven Pieces – Piano.

During his lifetime, Iosif Andriasov wrote a number of compositions for Piano. In 1992, he included some of them into a collection of the Seven Piano Pieces for Children. In the same year, Iosif Andriasov received the copyright for Seven Piano Pieces for Children at the Library of Congress, Washington, D.C.

Iosif Andriasov composed the “Little Fairy Tale” in 1954. The “Little Fairy Tale” is written in the Russian idiom. Iosif Andriasov composed “Caravan” in 1955. The “Caravan” is written in a style similar to that of the “Little Fairy Tale” by the composer. Iosif Andriasov composed the “Humorous Dance” for Piano in 1956. The “Humorous Dance” is the first composition of Iosif Andriasov with a humorous touch. Iosif Andriasov composed the “Labyrinth” in 1965. The main mood of the “Labyrinth” is a dance- or scherzo-like, springy, bouncy, with an element of play. Iosif Andriasov composed the “Phoenix” in 1966. The main mood of the “Phoenix” is mysterious and enigmatic, elusive and delicate. Iosif Andriasov composed the “Melody” in 1967. The “Melody” is a short piece, written in the strophic form A – A1. Iosif Andriasov composed the “Music Box” in 1980. The “Music Box” is a composition written in the form of a period, consisting of two sentences.
