Walter Reade Theater is Magical

Walter Reade Theater is magical.

One of my favorite movie theaters ever is located on 165 W 65th Street in Manhattan, NYC. Opened in 1991, Walter Reade Theater has been an important part of my life. Watching my favorite movies like Taxi Driver, Once Upon a Time in America, and other timeless classics on the big screen has truly given me a chance to better understand and delve deeper into their meaning.

Lincoln Center is an incredible place for the arts. You have The Juilliard School of Music, Avery Fisher Hall (David Heffen Hall), Alice Tully Hall, and many other cultural activities to attend. Beautifully created in one concentrated area, the sports complex in Philadelphia immediately comes to my mind.

I remember being sixteen years old when my dad and I went to see an Iranian movie “The Blue Scarf” at the Walter Reade Theater. Sadly, this was our first and only movie theater experience together. I remember we had an incredible time together. The movie was magical, and we both left Walter Reade in awe from the colors brought to us by Walter Reade Theater’s screen. After watching a wonderful movie, check out Café Fiorello – Elegance Personified to enjoy a treat in the neighborhood.
